The greatest challenge was to design a multi-channel campaign management experience that could not only be simple for an “amateur customer” but also sophisticated and well-suited for a client that had experience in the creation of complex campaigns.
Approach
We conducted interviews to gain in-depth knowledge of CTT's current advertising clients and potential users. In particular, we wanted to get to know their needs, pain points, and aspirations. By benchmarking solutions, we identified best practices and the current offer's flaws. We then defined and designed the platform's overall experience.
Outcome
A self-service advertising platform that allows clients to create and manage multi-channel campaigns through CTT's wide range of advertising solutions. This project was a tremendous challenge but the end result is the proof that designing an effective multi-channel campaign management platform is possible.
We listened
Listening to users was a key moment and it allowed us to understand their expectations. A product can't possibly showcase all the different features users might want to see. Nonetheless, it should show the most fundamental aspects requested by users, ensuring they get access to what they actually need. The process of grasping the goals of the customers was essential because it allowed us to be able to work on flows and functionalities that effectively answer the needs of the target audience.

While clients insert campaign information, CTT Ads recommends targeting options according to their needs. This means clients are walked through the selection of campaign goals, target audience, channels, etc.
